Our job recommendation service is predominantly driven by the way in which you categorize jobs within your ATS. Your unique job categories are mapped into interests and job categories, which in turn allow jobs, work histories, interest updates on the profile, location information and job apply history to be categorized and matched by candidate.
A new candidate profile with an empty work history will get placed into a default category chosen when an organization is setup, given that there are no parameters by which to match against jobs. A new profile such as this will experience ever-improved matching, based on the email clicks and job applies that are performed over time, quickly improving the matches received.
Candidates with rich work histories already have good information for our system to infer the most applicable category from which to select jobs. With good job titles too, our system will apply better job-title matching within those categories to filter an even more relevant sub-set of jobs for that candidate. Again, as candidates continue to engage and click through and show interest in certain jobs, our system gains more information to make better recommendations. In then end, job alerts match people to a job category. Specific jobs recommended are those in a matched category with some weighting toward title/location.
