A Campaign is a way of tracking candidates based on the advertising, location, product, and/or source that may have generated a candidate. Candidates in your CRM can be found, segmented, searched and marketed to based on one or more Campaigns. Campaigns give you ultimate flexibility to segment your candidates.
As Candidates come into contact with any Lead Capture Pages or any other tracking code or process we have, they can be/are automatically added to Campaigns. You can set Campaigns for each advert you place, link on your website, tweet, promotion, or even links in your emails so that candidates are bucketed or 'grouped' in your CRM.
Campaigns perform several functions:
- Segment candidates in your Talent Hive
- Group like-minded people together
- Allow you to track effectiveness of advertising conversion
- Allow you to see the kind of people responding to advertising
- Track hires back to source
- See where good hires come from and find more of those people
Campaigns can be configured in a multitude of ways; however, because they are flexible, it is a good idea to agree on a naming convention that you want to use. We suggest you think of having campaigns that give you both granular and general bucketing capabilities. For instance:
Example Campaigns: Client Career Site
CS, CS-RetailPage,CS-Retail-Apply CS, CS-RetailPage,CS-SchMan, CS-Retail-SchMan CS, CS-Prof,CS-SchMan, CS-Prof-Apply
These examples show a potential Career Site implementation. By searching the Campaign 'CS', you would find every candidate that joined via the Career Site. By searching 'CS-RetailPage', you would find every candidate who entered via the 'Retail Pages', and by searching 'CS-Retail-Apply', you would only find those who had used the 'Apply' button on the retail page.
FB, FB-Loader, FB-Ads, FB-Ad-Barista-B FB, FB-Loader, FB-Ads, FB-Ad-StoreManager, FB-Ad-SMager-A FB, FB-Comp, FB-Comp-YearCoffee FB, FB-Comp, FB-Comp-Inter
These examples show a potential Campaign Schema for tracking candidates coming from Facebook. If you were to search in the Talent Hive for 'FB', you would find all candidates who came via Facebook, regardless of the ad, the page, or the application. If you were to search 'FB-Ad-Barista-B', you would find those who responded to version 'B' of your 'Barista' ad on Facebook, and if you were to search 'FB-Comp-YearCoffee', you would find those who entered your 'Win coffee for a year' promotion.
