There are 3 main reasons why a user’s social network becomes unlinked from the platform:
- User ID token expires – the user needs to re-authenticate each network connection about every 60 days
- User changes password for a social network
- User tries to use multiple accounts (i.e. They have more than one FB or Twitter account), and switches from one to the other
When this happens, you will receive an email notification from the platform, letting you know that you need to re-link that network. In order to this, log into http://my.quesocial.com, click on the “Manage” tab, and find the icon for the correct social network. Next to that icon, you will find a link that says “Link X Account”. Click that link and follow the instructions to link your account.
