Jobs are created on the recruiter side of SmashFlyX and contacts can search and apply for jobs on the contact side, meaning through a career website or a job search site. This article discusses managing contacts and jobs.
To see jobs, go to the Jobs section of SmashFlyX
On the left are search filters. In the upper right is a button to Create New Job. Below that are sorting features as well as icon button: the default is list view. You can also select to see icon view.
Selecting a job will show you information about contacts and their application status
Recommendations are contacts that the system matched based on job criteria and profile information. Leads are recommendations or other profiles that you have moved in order to look deeper into their qualifications. You can continue to move contacts into the other categories. Contacts who apply to this job through a career website or job search product will appear in the Applicants section.
In the upper right is a button to Show Job Details. Selecting this provides information about the job, such as Job ID, location, who created the job, statistics for other jobs with a similar title, job description. and so on.
In the upper right is an Advertise button. This allows you to promote your job on job sites if you have an account set up. There is also a Job Actions button to manage the status of the job from Active to Closed or On Hold, for example. It also allows you to edit the job which will resend it through the posting process with new information.
To manage the contacts for this job, go to the section you wish to manage. In our case we will go to the Candidates section.
The action item you can take in the Actions pulldown is to download the contacts in this section. There are also sorting and view icons on the right, as there was in the view in the general Jobs section.
If you select at least one of the contacts, more options appear in the Actions pulldown.
You can download the selected contacts, re-position them to another job, disposition them to another category on this job, and other actions.
For example, if you want to disposition a candidate from the Candidates Section to the Offer section, select that candidate and choose Disposition from the Action pulldown. The Disposition window will open.
Select the section you wish to put the contact into, also use the pull down to select the reason, then select Save and the contact will be moved.
Selecting any of the profiles in the job sections will open that contact's profile and you can see their information.
In the upper right you can take action on this contact from the Contact Actions pulldown. Remember you must hit the select button above the Contact Action pulldown for the action to take effect.
You can also use the Feedback buttons, such as Recommend for Hire to provide your feedback in the contact profile for others to see. Just select the appropriate button and the Feedback will fill.
As you go through specific contacts, there are arrows to go the next or previous contact, allowing you to look at profiles in the job section one by one.
