Jobs are created on the recruiter side of XCloud and candidates can search and apply for jobs on the candidate side. This article discusses managing candidates and jobs.
To see jobs, go to the Manage Jobs section of XCloud
Selecting this will take you into the list of jobs created. On the left are search filters. In the view below, they are set to show all open jobs. In the upper right is a button to Create New Job. Below that are sorting features as well as two icon buttons: the one on the left will show jobs in an icon view, the view we currently have; the one on the right will show a text view.
Selecting a job will show you information at the top about that job and job category. On the left will be the posting date and other information. Moving to the right will show information about that job in relation to averages of previous postings of the same job title, such as time to close and number of applicants.
Selecting the new Nurse Tech position for our example, you see there is job information but no comparison to previous postings as this is a new job title. In the upper right is an Advertise button where you can create a SmartPost Job Posting for this position. Next to it are Job Actions where you can edit the job, view campaigns, or change the status of this job.
The next row of information focuses on applicants to this job; in other words, people who have applied to this position on the candidate side. There are 60 applicants for this position. Selecting a few of the candidates and going to the Actions pulldown allows various actions to be performed on selected candidates, such as repositioning the candidate with respect to the job, assigning assessments, creating a campaign, scheduling an interview or sharing the profile.
Selecting Disposition in the Action pulldown will take you to the Disposition menu where you can select the candidate status and add an informational tag.
There are also 49 recommended candidates for the Nurse position. This is the artificial intelligence of the system looking through profiles and matching them to the job requirements. The recommendations are for review and the system allows the ability to ask recommended candidates to apply.
Moving to the Recommended section and selecting two candidates activates use of the Action pulldown to Move to Leads.
Leads now contains two people. Wanting one of them to apply, select the candidate and go to the Actions pulldown where a campaign can send an email and ask her to apply to the job. If she does, she will appear in the application pool.
Other possible actions are shortlisting them, de-associating them from the Leads section, scheduling an interview, and sharing their profile.
When you select a candidate from any of the listings, you will see all of their profile information.
