Creating and Updating Your Talent Community Profile

How to Create a Talent Community Profile

Near the top right corner of the Career Website there will be a Sign Up/Login button that states “Join Our Talent Community” or something similar.

Roll your cursor over this button and you’ll see a small menu appear.  Click on the option that states “Create a Talent Profile”

On the next page you’ll be given the option to either join via a social network, or to add your information manually.

To join via a social network, click one of the social network icons at the top of the form.  A window will appear prompting you to login using your login credentials for that social network.  Go ahead and do so to allow the Career Website to access your information.  This will create your Talent Community Profile.

To join the talent community without connecting to a social network, fill in the fields within the form. An asterisk next to a field name indicates that it is a Required Field.  Keep in mind that offering accurate information will have a positive effect on your personalized experience and your job recommendations.  Once you’ve completed the form, click “Continue”

You also have the ability to upload your resume.  Please note that this is NOT a part of the application process.  However you are giving recruiters within the organization a chance to proactively review your information in order to reach out to you if you are a fit for a role there.

How to Sign In to You Talent Community Profile

Often the Career Website will recognize you when you return to the site and automatically sign you in.  This is done by placing a cookie on your browser.  So if you’ve recently cleared the cache on your browser then you may need to sign in again when you return.

To sign in, go back to the “Join Our Talent Network” menu at the top of the screen and roll your cursor over it.  In the menu that appears, click on “Already have a profile? Sign In”

You’ll be prompted to enter your username and password.  Your Username is your Email Address.  If you’ve forgotten your password, not to worry.  Just click the Forgot Password link below the login.  You’ll receive an email allowing you to reset it.

 How to Update You Talent Community Profile

After signing in, you’ll be taken to you profile page automatically.  If you’re already signed in, then just go to the top of the screen where it says “Hello, “{your name}” and in the menu that appears click on “Your Account”

Look for the tab labeled “My Profile” and click on that.  You’ll see the fields that you had filled in when signing up.  You can edit these at any time if needed.

You’ll also see a tab within “My Profile” labeled “Preferences”.  This information is valuable to recruiters within the organization when they’re evaluating members of the talent community for potential opportunities.  So be sure to fill them in.

Once you’ve updated your information, click “Save”
