You can upload contacts through a spreadsheet or from resumes.
Go to the Contacts section and you will see three dots in the upper right. Selecting this will open the pull-down menu with the Bulk Load item. If you do not see it, then permissions need to be enabled by a system administrator.

Once a candidate is created in SmashFlyX, they are able to receive job alerts and other emails and they also have an account on the career site. Bulk uploaded contacts may not be aware of this and need to be contacted if appropriate to alert them and let them know to reset their career site password (as it was automatically given a random password at time of bulk creation). Their username is the email used in their contact creation.
Uploading Contacts from a Spreadsheet
The spreadsheet must be in cvs or xlsx format and the limit for bulk upload of contacts is 20,000 at one time. There is a template that must be used and there are instructions about the template fields
You should download the File Template. This is a csv file with the allowable columns and format. Each row in the Template must have a unique number in column A. You are only allowed these fields in this order.
You should also download the instruction that lists the specific conditions and allowable values for each field in the template.
Once you have a valid file based on the template and the instructions, you can use the browse function to load it into the File window.
Select Submit and the file will load for review. If any of the rows have an 'Invalid' message, that means something about the data for that row is not acceptable. Go back and fix the data and try to load it again. If you choose to move ahead without correction, the invalid rows will not load.
Once all the data is valid, select Next. Now you will be asked for the name of a folder to put the contacts in. You can also add tags if you want to the contact records.
Designate the existing folder name or create a new folder and select Move. The contacts in the bulk load csv will be put into the designated folder and that folder will appear.
Uploading Contacts from Resumes
The resumes must be gathered in a zip file.
Select the Resume radio button. Download instructions guide you how to create a zip file if you are unsure. Once you have the file, use the Browse button to load the file.
Select Submit and you will be asked for the name of a folder to put the contacts in. You can also add tags if you want to the contact records.
Once you have all this complete, select Move. The resume information will be used to create contacts in the selected folder.
