Feedback on a job and contacts is a way for recruiters and others to communicate about actions to take on a contact when there are more than one person involved in the hiring decision process. For feedback to work, permissions must be set correctly and the contact must be at least a candidate. Feedback can be used to request an interview, request that a contact be hired, request that a contact be added to another position. or the contact be rejected.
First, permissions must be set correctly for Feedback to be available. This can be done by your system administrator and will be achieved through the Tools menu and Feature Permissions (Job Search section to enable Feedback Filtering, Candidate Profile section to enable Feedback actions).
For a specific job, a contact must be in Candidate status for Feedback to be available. Select a contact in candidate status to see the Feedback options. In the image below, the contact has been moved to candidate status and the feedback is to Recommend for Hire.
You can select Schedule in Interview, Recommend for Hire, Recommend for Another Position, or Reject. Once selecting one of these options, Feedback will be activated, a flag will be put on the contact profile within the job, and Feedback searching becomes available.
First is Feedback searching. Going back to the main jobs page, the Feedback item on the search page will show there is Feedback pending. Selecting this as a search option will narrow down which jobs have feedback pending. In our case, two open jobs have contacts with feedback.
Selecting the first job link will take me into the job and I go to the Candidates section to see those contacts.
There is a Feedback flag on one of the contacts.
