The ordering tab is where you can see all of your "Orders" which are effectively your invoices. This budget pool can be used on any media type within the platform, and you're able to get one bill but then run on any media you'd like since Symphony Talent acts as your clearinghouse for media buying (as your ad agency of record for recruitment media buying.)

This ordering feature is integrated with Symphony Talent's instance of Salesforce as well as Netsuite, so that business processes can be streamlines and made transparent for everyone involved - since every media bill is visible in one place.

Ordering is how we're able to set media budgets, think of the sum of your orders as your "gas tank" minus what has already been spent. This means that any unspent budgets from prior months automatically rollover and remain available to you for future use. The ordering tab sets the upper limit on what you are able to budget for on the "Master Budgets" tab, as a safety to prevent unintentional overspend.

If for example you have $5,000 available in your "gas tank" according to your ordering tab and you try to enter a budget for this month of $6,000 in your Master Budgets tab, the system will let you know that you don't have enough budget available. You can then add a $1,000 order in the Orders tab, and then have that money available, and at that point if you try again it will allow for it.

The "Media Budget Available This Month" as shown on the Orders tab is what you have available to spend, but that said, you need not spend it. Perhaps it is your intention to use those funds over 2 or 3 months rather than all this month - this is your call strategically as you control your own budgets and your own goals. You may want to plan to vary your spending to address hiring seasonalities, and the combination of Master Budgets & Ordering, allows everyone to see and manage that in one place and in full transparency to all involved parties.

Note that media spending (delivery) depletes budgets, so while budgets can be raised or lowered, a currently month budget cannot be lowered to less than what has already spent. To track spend delivery across all media types, you can access the Reports tab where spend through end-of-day yesterday is always tracked and reported on, from all media types and with down-to-the-penny spend accuracy that comes as a result of Symphony Talent's deep API integrations with media partners like Google, Indeed, Facebook, and so on.
