The SMS channel tab allows you to set aside a part of your flexibly allocated budgets, for SMS campaigns to targeted candidates. Both the email and the SMS channel tabs are powered via an integration with Nexxt. Like with other channels, the targeting is implied by the jobs in the campaign. If the jobs in the campaign are IT jobs in Chicago & St. Louis, the SMS campaign will be sent out to tech candidates in Chicago & St. Louis. Here also, custom targeting is possible if a special "non-job" campaign is created from the main page, for example, to promote and invite candidates to a hiring event. This is a good media use case as SMS and email are good "push" type messages for inviting both active and passive candidates to a recruitment related event.
The number of emails and SMS you received is automatic based on the budget you opt to allocate. Emails are $0.10 each, and SMS sends are $1 each. The overall minimum for email and SMS is $300 per send. Please coordinate offline with your Symphony Talent point of contact to select a send date and to request a test send in order to check your creative. Email allows for either HTML or Text-only messages, while SMS is test-only and character restricted. Your Symphony Talent representative will set up and ensure tracking for any messages delivered so that you can see the impact of these efforts in your overall media reporting dashboards.
