There are two methods to filter on candidates who are subscribed to the talent community. This is important to make sure campaigns are going out to the people who have subscribed to receive talent notices.
Using Custom Fields
The first method is to use custom fields. Below we have pulled up 10,474 candidate profiles. We now want to know who among them is subscribed.
Go to the search pane on the left. At the bottom right of the pane is the link Edit Customer Fields. Select this to open the Custom Fields window. Select Unsubscribe.
When you select Add Custom Fields, you are returned to your candidate list and now you see there are 2448 candidates of the original 10,474 that are unsubscribed.
If you now select the Unsubscribe addition in the search pane to turn it off, you will have the result of 8026 candidates that are subscribed.
The second method is to use Boolean search. In the Search pane, there is a link for Boolean Search Supported.
Select this link to get to the information page about using Boolean search. At the bottom of this page are database fields that can be used and the parameters for those fields. One such field is unsubscribe_check and the parameters are f for false and t for true.
Using this information in our original search of 10,474 candidates, put in unsubscribe_check:t to find the 8026 candidates that are subscribed.
