Jobs: Create a new Job from scratch
If you're using an ATS, and ST's job posting solutions, the jobs will automatically flow into the CRM.
For ST's ATS customers, recruiters can create a job using a template or from scratch. This article describes how you can create a job using a preexisting template.
Click CREATE NEW JOB on the jobs page to initiate the process.
This shows a list of available templates to choose from. Use job titles to search for templates, or sort them by job title or requisition ID to find the right template to work with. Click on one of the template cards to preview the template. Once satisfied, click USE TEMPLATE to proceed to a 3 step job creation process
Recruiters will see job related information prepopulated from the template:
•The job title that is displayed to the applicant.
•Metadata and custom field values.
•The approval requirements and people who approve the job requisition.
•The people who review and interview new applicants.
•Screening questionnaire, on-boarding forms, and automated communication set up
A red asterisk (*) beside a field indicates that it is required. Complete all the applicable fields in the ‘Basic Information’, ‘Job Details’, and ‘Access’ sections. With ‘Select Apply Stream’ and ‘Screening Questions’ dropdown, you can select which set of questions candidates need to answer during their application process and screening process.
Prev/ Next
After completing each step, you can use ‘Prev’ and ‘Next’ buttons at the bottom to validate that all required information is entered on this page and proceed to the previous or next step as needed.
Finish
A ‘Finish’ button will be available when all required fields in 3 steps are completed. Click this button to save the changes made on all pages of the requisition and submit the requisition for approval.
What’s Next?
Now that the job requisition has been created, it will be in DRAFT state. Edit the job, or click the POST button if you're ready to go live with it. If an approval flow was selected, it will go into PENDING status, and approvers will have the ability to either approve or reject this draft. Once approved by each members in the approval chain, the job's status will change to OPEN, and will be successfully posted on the career site you selected and you can hire job-seekers directly into the position.
