Creating a new Contact
To create a new Talent Profile, go to 'Talent Community' from homepage. On top right there is a button 'Create Profile'. On selecting this, a page opens up where you will have following two options to create a new Contact.
1. Create Contact's Profile from an existing Resume
Select 'Create Profile' option inside left box which will open up a file explored pop up to upload the resume file. Make sure that your resume file type is .doc, .docx or .pdf within size limit of 2 MB. System will parse out the information available in Resume and you will be able to review this information. Make sure all the information is correct in all 3 sections - Contact Info, Work History/ Experience, Education. With the help of edit, save, cancel buttons in each section, you will also be able to add additional information which might not be present in Resume.
The email address as a username must be unique to create a new profile. The system will display errors in red font to update or add any missing information. After review, click 'Finish' and contact will be created successfully. The contact's profile will be shown to you at end of this process.
2. Manually Create a Contact
To create a profile manually, Select 'Create Profile' option inside right box.
Here you can fill in your contact's information and review that all mandatory fields are completed. If not, you will be shown error messages which you will be able to look into. In first 'Contact Info' section, First Name, Last Name and Email are mandatory fields. The Email must be unique else the validation process will request you to enter a new email address.
Proceed with next 'Work History/ Experience', 'Education' sections if you have this information available else these sections are not mandatory. After review, click 'Finish' and contact will be created successfully. The contact's profile will be shown to you at end of this process.
Editing an existing Contact
To edit or update an existing contact, go to 'Talent Community' from homepage. Review the contacts list and find the one you need to update. Select this contact's tile and on this contact's profile page you will be able to use 'Edit' buttons for each sections to modify exiting information or add new information using 'Add School', 'Add Job' buttons. Click 'Save' button given in each section's title and the information will be updated.
