If you are unable to see the items in this article, it is probably a permissions issue and you should reach out to your SmashFlyX system administrator
You can now assign tasks to individuals in SmashFlyX through a contact profile. If you open a profile, Tasks is a section along the right side. You can see tasks that are Upcoming, Completed, and Overdue by selecting the correct 'tab' in the Tasks section.
Selecting the Add Task link will open the Add Task Window. Here you can add the task to any user in the system with a description and a date/time. This date/time will be based on your computer clock and will adjust if the assignee is in a different time zone.
Once you select Create, the task will appear in the contact Task section. There are icons on the upper right to complete the task, add it to a user's calendar, edit the task, or remove the task.
Note: If you choose to add the task to a user's calendar, when you select the calendar icon, it goes to your calendar. Then, as with any calendar invite, you can add other users if you wish.
In the profile icon in the upper right, the pulldown contains a section for tasks so you can see tasks that are assigned to you.
Selecting My Tasks will take you to the My Task window where you can see what is in your name. Also, there is a filter icon in the upper right where you can filter on tasks based on date, assignment, and whether it is completed or not.
If the task date arrives and the task is not completed, the assignee will receive a reminder to their email.
