What is it?
OFCCP requires federal contractors to retain certain search related parameters while searching databases.
-
The position for which each search was made
-
The search criteria used
-
When the search was performed
-
Which of the searched contacts were moved ahead in the process
SmashFlyX’s OFCCP Search feature provides a way for this data to be stored for every search performed through the product. In an audit scenario, clients can open a support ticket to get specific data.
How to get OFCCP Search?
Enable the OFCCP feature permission under Tools > Feature Permissions > Candidate Search. This permission is disabled by default for all clients, all roles.
Is there a cost?
No cost involved. This feature is part of the CRM offering.
What's included in it?
-
When performing a contact search, client can check the OFCCP box to mark the search for logging.
-
When adding selected contacts to a Job folder, the selected contacts are added to the log
-
The logs provide a way for the client to get OFFCP requested data from such logs
Using OFCCP Search
Once enabled for a user role, users of this role will see an OFCCP checkbox on the Contact Search page.
Checking the box gives one the opportunity to specify which job one is sourcing for. Once the job is selected, if search criteria entered in the panel, the log stores:
-
search parameters
-
all contacts in the resulting view (every scroll leads to 10 more contacts loading, which means every log entry will have 10 contacts' details)
-
time of search
-
which job the search was performed for
Also, if selecting one or many contacts and adding them to a job, then there are similar log entries made
Hence, if a client wants to be OFCCP compliant, their users need to check the OFCCP box while performing contact searches for jobs
Customer Support
In an audit scenario, the client may want OFCCP search logs for a particular job/date range/contact or searches performed by specific users. Raise a support ticket to get the data.
